We are glad to announce that the Aspen Institute Kyiv involves Andrey Kulakov in the development of Institute's Society of Fellows Program!
Andrey Kulakov is a media manager and media expert. He works as a director for program activities in the public organization Internews Ukraine, where he is responsible for project implementation, strategic planning and fundraising. He planned and implemented local and international media and communication projects to order from EU Delegation, USAID, World Bank, UNICEF, OSCE and other. He represents the Ukrainian media community at various international venues, for example, on the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. As a consultant and trainer in strategic communications, advocacy and media literacy Andrey worked in Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia. He is the author of English online course on communication, and also co-author and editor of several manuals for journalists. He writes for such resources as "Ukrainska Pravda", "Day", "Telecrytyka" and others. He translated classical texts on political philosophy. As a journalist and editor, he worked on radio, in the newspaper, and on television. He worked in various programs of the International Foundation "Revival". He studied history of philosophy at the National University "Kiev-Mohyla Academy" (master of the history of philosophy), trained at Lublin University. M. Curie-Sklodowska (Poland), studied convergent journalism at the University of South Carolina (Columbia, USA). He was a participant of the seminar at the Aspen Institute in 2006 (USA), seminar "Responsible Leadership" (Aspen-1 group, 2008, Ukraine), moderator seminar (Aspen Institute Kyiv). Co-founder of the Ukrainian Aspen-club.
