Duration: applicants for this placement must be available since 15 February till 15 June 2018 and are expected to work 10-12 hours per week before the Forum and two weeks after itwith full-day engagement during the Forum itself.
Responsibilities: Intern is expected to work with Aspen Institute Kyiv team in preparation and organizing of Good Governance Forum as a focal point for information exchange within Aspen Initiative for Europe as well as with Forum’ speakers and participants. The list below includes main activities (although some other tasks might appear during the period of tenure):
Aspen Institute Kyiv will provide working place in its office for the period of internship.
About Good Governance Forum
Implementation of good governance principles and norms (especially in the public domain) are in the focus of the Ukrainian society and its leadership for many years. Despite many successful endeavors in this domain it remains fragile that contributes a lot to lowering distrust in public institutions and leveraging obstacles for further modernization of the Ukrainian society.
Pursuing the ideals of good society Aspen Institute Kyiv in cooperation with its partners from Aspen International Network (Aspen Institute Romania) and Aspen Initiative for Europe initiates Good Governance Forum allowing leaders from different countries to share experience and ideas related to anti-corruption strategies, policy development and implementation, as well as search for solutions of the common problems.
Forum is primarily planned for Friday, May 25, 2018 with expectation of side-events on May 24 and 26, 2018.
